What You ll Do:
Deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to all student abilities, ensuring that every child can engage with and enjoy physical activity.
Foster a positive, energetic environment where students feel empowered to challenge themselves and develop their skills.
Lead extracurricular sports clubs and activities, providing students with additional opportunities to hone their abilities and get involved outside of regular lessons.
Encourage students to understand the importance of fitness and well-being, helping them build habits that last a lifetime.
Work closely with colleagues across different subjects to integrate physical education into the broader school curriculum, promoting cross-disciplinary learning.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure that every student is supported in their development.
Contribute to school life by taking part in sports events, competitions, and other initiatives that promote physical activity across the community.
What We re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a passion for Physical Education.
Previous experience teaching PE at the primary or secondary level, with the ability to tailor lessons for different age groups and skill levels.
A deep understanding of the curriculum and a knack for making lessons exciting and accessible for all students.
Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
A proactive attitude towards creating a school culture that values physical health and teamwork.
Experience in coaching or mentoring, with a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
A willingness to embrace professional development and continuously improve your teaching methods.
