Key Responsibilities:Deliver Inspiring Humanities Lessons
Lead engaging lessons across the Humanities curriculum, including History, Geography, and Social Studies.
Encourage students to explore and critically analyze key concepts such as historical events, geographical challenges, and societal structures.
Foster a classroom environment that values curiosity, independent thinking, and global awareness.
Track Student Progress and Drive Achievement
Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and tailored support.

Collaborate Across Subjects
Work with the Humanities department to create a cohesive learning experience across History, Geography, and other related subjects.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Humanities, History, Geography, or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level, with the ability to engage and inspire students up to A-Level.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
A passion for creating an inclusive classroom culture that promotes critical thinking and a global perspective.
Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of students of varying abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
Desirable:
Experience teaching multiple Humanities subjects such as Geography, History, or Sociology.
A keen interest in current global issues, ethical debates, and their relevance to modern society.
Experience working with SEN students and adapting lesson plans to ensure all learners thrive.
