Contracts Manager - Industrial Roofing & Cladding

Location: North West England
Salary: 55,000 - 58,000 per annum
Benefits: Company vehicle, full-time permanent role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and reputable industrial roofing and cladding contractor operating across the North West of England. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects.



The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the management and delivery of industrial roofing and cladding projects from pre-start through to completion. This is a full-time, site-based role requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and commercial awareness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations across multiple cladding and roofing contracts

  • Planning, coordinating, and overseeing project programmes and resources

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers

  • Managing supply chains and procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials

  • Ensuring strict compliance with Health & Safety, quality, and environmental standards

  • Supervising site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality installation

  • Monitoring progress, reporting on performance, and resolving technical or commercial issues

  • Managing project budgets, valuations, variations, and cost control

  • Delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining excellent client relationships



Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within industrial roofing and cladding (essential)

  • High-level knowledge of cladding systems, including new build and refurbishment projects

  • Strong understanding of roofing and fa ade systems

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and risk management

  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills

  • Effective communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage site teams

  • Ability to problem-solve and collaborate effectively to overcome technical challenges



Desirable Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Construction Management or a related discipline

  • Relevant industry certifications

  • Experience working on multi-phase construction projects

  • CSCS (Black card)

  • SMSTS
