As a SEN Teaching Assistant in Newbury, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to create a nurturing, positive learning environment where every child can thrive. You'll support pupils with a range of needs, helping them to build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
• Encourage independence and promote inclusion across the classroom.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Newbury or similar educational setting.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, or speech and language needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
