Working with big-name directors across several mediums, our client has made a major name for themselves in the Entertainment Industry. They have earned the most recognized international awards, including Grammy's, Emmy's, and Tony's, for their work on culture-defining commercials and music videos. Their annual turnover is £25 million, supporting some of the biggest names in the creative and entertainment industries.
Based in a beautiful and trendy area of Central London, you have the opportunity to join a small and close-knit finance team where culture is king. The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'd be joining the finance team as a brand-new addition, working alongside an Assistant Accountant and Production Accountant at an exciting time for the business. Following a recent change in ownership, the team is working to faster reporting timelines, and this role will be key to keeping the production accounts accurate and up to date. You'll be the hands-on support for production finance: getting production costs, invoices and petty cash into the system promptly, supporting the team through year-end and audit, and picking up day-to-day finance admin so the wider team can focus on reporting.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their finance career to break into the entertainment and production industry, with hands-on training in production accounting from an experienced and supportive team.
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a finance assistant, accounts assistant or assistant accountant role, ideally within a creative, media or entertainment business. Very importantly, they have a real interest in the arts and entertainment, are keen to learn, are happy to get stuck in, and enjoy a friendly and social workplace culture.
Based on the learning opportunities available, this role is expected 5 days per-week in office, where you'll get real, hands-on exposure to productions.
