Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Cookstown
Hours: 39-hour week with a choice of a 4-day or 5-day working week
About the Role
Fusion People have an exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Press Brake Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Cookstown. This role offers the chance to work in a modern production environment, contributing to the manufacture of high-quality products while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components to specification
- Inspect sheet metal materials for defects, imperfections, and quality concerns
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and team objectives
- Comply with all health and safety procedures and site regulations
- Support wider production activities as required
Experience operating CNC rollers would be advantageous but is not essential.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience operating press brake machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Be a reliable and hardworking team player
- Possess good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Be willing to learn new skills and develop within the role
- Have flexibility to work overtime when required to meet business demands
