Health & Safety Manager Scarborough Circa 70,000 + Bonus

This opportunity involves deploying and coordinating the site's health and safety policy, shaping culture, influencing leaders, and inspiring teams to embed safety as a core value. You will be at the heart of the leadership team, focusing on continuous improvement and full compliance.

The key responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing health & safety strategies aligned with legal and regional standards.
• Leading risk assessments and establishing safe systems of work to mitigate hazards.
• Influencing and coaching site leadership to promote a strong safety culture and ownership at all levels.
• Managing incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting to drive ongoing safety improvements.
• Ensuring the site's ISO 45001 management system and audit readiness.

You will have:

• NEBOSH Diploma.
• Extensive experience within manufacturing environments, preferably food manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of ISO 45001 and safety management systems.
• Demonstrable leadership, influencing skills, and the ability to work hands-on at all levels of the organisation.
