SEN Teacher KS3 - Oldbury

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive special school in Oldbury for a full-time SEN Teacher to join their team ASAP.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a KS3 semi-formal class, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs through an engaging, personalised curriculum. The successful candidate will be committed to helping every student reach their full potential while creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Role:

• Full-time SEN Teacher
• Teaching a KS3 semi-formal class
• September start
• Long-term opportunity within a well-established special school
• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and the wider school team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have previous experience working within a special school or with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Be confident in adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs
• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people

What You Will Be Doing:

• Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all students
• Delivering small group or one to one catch up sessions
• Supporting pupils according to their individual needs
• Working with the class teacher to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay
