Secondary Supply Teacher (Day-to-Day)

Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Lambeth to recruit qualified teachers for day-to-day supply opportunities commencing in November 2026.

These flexible assignments provide an opportunity to work across a variety of school settings while maintaining control over your availability and work schedule.

The Role

Responsibilities may include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Supporting student learning and engagement throughout lessons.
• Following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
• Providing feedback to school staff where requested.

Person Specification

Applicants should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
• Have recent experience teaching within UK secondary schools.
• Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Be able to adapt to different school environments and teaching requirements.
• Be committed to supporting positive outcomes for all students.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
