Mechanical Engineer - Qualified Mechanics Considered
Kettering 54,000 - 56,000 + Bonus
Are you an NVQ Level 3 qualified mechanic or mechanical engineer looking to move into manufacturing?
An established manufacturer in Kettering is looking for mechanically skilled engineers who can bring strong hands-on maintenance and fault-finding experience into its engineering team.
You don't need to already be a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer. Candidates from automotive, HGV, plant, agricultural, mechanical fitting and forces/REME backgrounds will be considered.
You'll be working on:
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Pumps, motors, conveyors and gearboxes
- Mechanical fault finding and repairs
- Machinery upgrades
- Reliability and continuous improvement projects
You'll need:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 / Mechanical Apprenticeship or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Hands-on repair and maintenance experience
- Good fault-finding ability
- A willingness to develop within manufacturing
54,000 - 56,000 + Bonus + Excellent Pension
8-Hour Rotating Shifts Permanent Kettering
