Production Operative

Role: Production Operator
Location: Pontypool
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00AM - 4:00PM, Friday 7:00AM - 1:00PM (rotating shifts possible)
Pay: £13.45 per hour on days, rising to £15.47 per hour on shifts
Bonus: £1(Apply online only) available (pro rata, subject to criteria)

Immediate start available. We're recruiting a Production Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business in Pontypool, with structured training, shift allowances and a potential £1(Apply online only) bonus on successful completion of the project.

The Role:

• Assemble, prepare, fit and move products to production schedules and quality standards
• Use machinery, hand tools and air-fed tools (torque wrenches, sanders) safely
• Complete production paperwork and carry out quality checks
• Support stock movement and line replenishment
• Keep your area clean and safe and follow all health and safety procedures

Possible Shifts: Monday to Friday rotating, 6:00AM - 2:00PM and 2:00PM - 10:00PM

Bonus: £1(Apply online only) pro rata back to the project start in June, subject to attendance, performance and client criteria being met.

The Requirements:

• Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
• Able to follow SOPs and technical instructions
• Good attention to detail, with a positive can-do attitude
• Reliable, with strong timekeeping and attendance
• Team player who can work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to commute reliably to Pontypool
