Wrap Around Assistant - Breakfast & After School Club

Let s Educate are a recruitment agency seeking caring, enthusiastic and reliable Wrap Around Club Assistants on behalf of a local school in Fairford, Gloucestershire.

We are recruiting for both Breakfast Club and After School Club positions, with opportunities to work mornings, afternoons or both.

Working Hours

Breakfast Club: 7:45am 8:45am

After School Club: 3:15pm 5:30pm

Location: Fairford, Gloucestershire, GL7

The Role

As a Wrap Around Club Assistant, you will help provide a safe, nurturing and enjoyable environment for children before and after the school day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming children and families in a friendly and positive manner.
• Supervising children and ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Supporting fun, creative and age-appropriate activities.
• Assisting with breakfast and after-school snacks.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and friendships.
• Ensuring all children feel included, happy and supported.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised environment.
• Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure the smooth running of the clubs.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for working with children.
• Is caring, patient, approachable and enthusiastic.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is reliable, punctual and organised.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and children's welfare.
• Can use their initiative and contribute to a positive environment.

Previous experience working with children is desirable, and relevant childcare qualifications are an advantage.
