Accountant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are exclusively partnering with an Fin-tech firm in London who are looking to recruit an immediate, Qualified interim Accountant for 6 months.

Role:

Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, Qualified interim Accountant to join their finance team for a period of 6 months.

In this role you will be responsible for assisting our client with the following duties:

• Support the monthly and quarterly financial close by preparing and reviewing journal entries, expense accruals, and prepaid amortisations.
• Perform P&L and balance sheet variance analyses and provide explanations to global accounting leadership.
• Fixed Assets Accounting: Manage capitalisation, depreciation, and retirement of fixed assets in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Review capital expenditure accounts and ensure accurate classification and documentation.
• Work closely with the Global Accounts Payable and Accounting teams in New York and London. Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests.
• Execute accounting controls in line with SOX requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
• Participate in global accounting transformation initiatives, including automation and reporting enhancements using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
• Ad Hoc and Reporting Support:

Profile:

The successful Interim Accountant will be a qualified ACA, ACCA or CA with a strong technical reporting background and solid US GAAP experience. You'll be comfortable operating across multiple entities, managing complex reporting requirements and hitting the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

You must be immediate or on a 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Client:

Our client is a global Fin-tech firm in London who are looking to recruit an immediate, Qualified interim Accountant for 6 months. This role will be office based 2 days per week with 3 days working from home.

Salary & Benefits:

This interim Accountant role will be paying £375-425 per day dependant on experience.
