Location: Slough, Berkshire
Salary: 27,850 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasional Saturday working (9:00am to 2:00pm) may be required with notice. Overtime opportunities available.

With over 20 years of industry experience and significant investment in latex and dye-sublimation printing technology, they provide a complete in-house manufacturing solution for printers, distributors, and agencies across the UK.

Producing everything from one-off posters to large-volume campaigns, they pride themselves on quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Z nd CNC Operator to join a busy and highly skilled production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Z nd digital cutter, processing a wide range of printed materials including banners, flags, labels, rigid boards, and packaging products. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, offering the opportunity to further develop skills while becoming a key member of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Z nd digital cutting machine to cut a wide range of printed materials.
• Selecting appropriate tools and blades for different materials and applications.
• Planning and prioritising cutting schedules to meet same-day and next-day production deadlines.
• Carrying out daily cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of machinery.
• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of blades and cutter consumables.
• Supporting the finishing and packing teams where required.
• Receiving and handling deliveries.
• Ensuring high standards of quality, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Previous experience operating a Z nd digital cutter or a similar CNC digital cutting machine such as Kongsberg.
• Experience within the large format print, signage, graphics, or display industry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good computer literacy and technical aptitude.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Team-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

Desirable:

• Forklift licence or previous forklift operating experience.
