Finance Analyst - Temporary Media & Entertainment
I'm currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join the Studio Finance team of a globally recognised entertainment business, supporting some of the world's biggest film and streaming brands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to work closely with marketing and business stakeholders, providing financial insight across a high-profile content portfolio.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting AOP, budgeting, forecasting, FYP and month-end close processes
- Producing regular financial reporting and analysis for Content Marketing
- Reviewing actuals, identifying trends, risks and opportunities and providing meaningful commentary
- Supporting financial modelling and the development of reporting tools
- Working closely with budget holders and non-finance stakeholders to improve financial performance
- Preparing clear presentations and analysis for senior finance and business stakeholders
- Contributing to finance transformation and process improvement projects
What we're looking for:
- Commercial finance / FP&A experience within a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insight
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- ACCA/CIMA studies would be advantageous
Experience within media, entertainment, streaming, marketing, music or another consumer-facing environment would be particularly relevant, although this isn't essential.
