SENCO Secondary Phase All-Through School Haringey November 2026 or January 2027

Reeson Education is recruiting for an all-through primary and secondary school in Haringey seeking a dedicated SENCO to lead and develop SEND provision within its secondary phase.
The school is open to candidates looking to start in November 2026 or January 2027.
About the SENCO Role
The successful SENCO will take responsibility for ensuring pupils with SEND receive appropriate support and that staff have the guidance and resources needed to provide an inclusive education.
You will work closely with the school's leadership team and wider SEND team, as well as parents, carers and external professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating SEND provision across the secondary phase
- Managing and reviewing EHCPs and annual review processes
- Advising teachers on effective SEND strategies
- Supporting the identification of additional needs
- Monitoring pupil progress and provision
- Liaising with parents, carers and external agencies
- Supporting SEND interventions and provision
- Providing guidance and support to teaching staff
- Ensuring SEND documentation is accurate and up to date
- Contributing to whole-school SEND development across the all-through setting
What the School Is Looking For
The successful SENCO must have:
- Previous SENCO experience in a UK-based school - essential
- Experience supporting pupils within a secondary setting
- Strong understanding of SEND processes and legislation
- Experience managing EHCPs and working with external professionals
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- The confidence to work with teachers, parents and senior leaders
- A commitment to inclusive education and strong outcomes for pupils with SEND
Location & Transport
The school is based in Haringey, North London, with excellent transport connections.
- Approximately 5 minutes' walk from the nearest station
- Excellent access via the Victoria Line
- Well-served by local bus routes
- No school parking available, so public transport is recommended
Start Date
November 2026 or January 2027, depending on candidate availability.
