Your opportunity

As Engineering Project Manager, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of process-improvement projects from concept through to completion. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and wider business teams, you will investigate recurring issues, develop workable solutions and deliver changes that improve efficiency, reliability and service.

• Lead and deliver a varied portfolio of process-improvement projects.
• Investigate operational challenges and implement sustainable, practical solutions.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and create a reliable network of support.
• Keep stakeholders informed through clear presentations, milestone updates and performance reports.
• Train and support Engineering and Operational teams so improvements are embedded successfully.
• Provide hands-on engineering support when needed to help maintain service levels.

You will follow engineering health and safety procedures, contribute to site safety activities, maintain machinery to the required technical standards and collaborate with Hygiene and other teams to protect product quality.

What will help you succeed

• Previous engineering experience in an FMCG chilled or food-production environment.
• Experience working in a customer focused operation.
• A mechanical and electrical qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 17th Edition electrical qualification.
• Confident communication, presentation and IT skills.
• A logical, decisive approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail.
• The flexibility and resilience to perform well under pressure while remaining a dependable team player.
