Payroll

We are currently looking for an experienced Payroller to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has strong payroll experience, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running. You will be responsible for ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time, while supporting employees with any payroll-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing monthly payroll for 300+ employees accurately and on time.
• Managing starters, leavers and employee amendments.
• Processing PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions.
• Handling payroll queries and resolving discrepancies.
• Completing payroll reconciliations and reports.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
• Working closely with HR and the wider finance team.
• Ensuring payroll processes comply with relevant legislation.

About You:

• Previous payroll experience is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance and pensions.
• Confident using Excel and payroll systems.
• Able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Available to start at short notice.

• Hourly rate is up to 14p/h plus holiday pay
