Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Materials Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing the flow of materials from suppliers through to production.
• Ensuring accurate inventory levels are maintained and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
• Collaborating closely with various departments to forecast material needs and optimise supply chain processes.
• Developing and implementing inventory management strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Conducting regular stock audits and analyses to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolving any supply chain issues that may arise.

What the Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

Our client is looking for an individual who possesses:

• A background in materials management or supply chain operations, ideally within a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
