Full-Time Hybrid Working (Min 2 days in the office per week)

An established and trusted civil engineering and transport planning consultancy in London is looking for a Senior / Principal Civil Technician to join their growing team. With a strong focus on residential projects, this is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading technical role in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role offers the chance to take ownership of projects, work closely with engineers and project teams, and contribute directly to high-quality residential developments. You'll be part of a friendly team that values expertise, innovation, and professional growth.

As a Senior / Principal Civil Technician, you will:

• Deliver detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for residential infrastructure projects
• Use Site 3D to support design and project delivery
• Contribute to the design of highways, drainage, and SuDS schemes
• Assist with adoption and long-term maintenance submissions
• Mentor and guide junior technicians and support staff
• Work closely with engineers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to high technical standards

• Proven experience as a Civil Technician in residential infrastructure projects
• Strong skills in Site 3D
• Experience producing detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Understanding of highways, drainage, and SuDS design principles
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work independently
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery

• Salary up to 65k for the right candidate
