This Fire Service has an exciting vacancy for an HGV Vehicle Technician. This role is based in the workshop at their Headquarters - in Aylesbury - where they are committed to providing an excellent, modern, and agile Fire & Rescue Service for the community.

Salary: £46,173 to £46,880 gross per annum (including guaranteed overtime and tool allowance), plus potential to earn additional overtime for out-of-hours on-call availability.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be an experienced, fully qualified HGV Vehicle Technician, joining a team responsible for the servicing, repair, and maintenance of the fleet of emergency vehicles, plant, equipment, and light vehicles that support the Service.

The Service Can Offer You
You will be required to take part in the emergency on-call rota one week out of seven, attracting a standby rate of £352 per week completed. You will initially be mentored by another team member, usually for the duration of the six-month probationary period.
