Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate, patient and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in the M7 area of Salford from September. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of children with additional needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils with a range of complex SEND needs, working both on a one-to-one basis and within the classroom alongside the class teacher and wider SEND team. This is a highly rewarding role where building trusting relationships, providing consistency and helping pupils reach their full potential are at the heart of everything you do.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with high levels of additional needs both individually and within the classroom.
• Work closely with pupils who are non-verbal and require tailored communication strategies.
• Support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated communication and language needs.
• Follow individual support plans, behaviour strategies and established classroom routines.
• Encourage communication, independence, emotional regulation and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SEND professionals and families to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child.
• Provide intimate care where required, always maintaining dignity, respect and professionalism.
• Create a calm, nurturing and structured environment where pupils feel safe, supported and able to thrive.

• Previous experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Experience working with pupils who are non-verbal or have communication and language delays.
• Confidence supporting pupils with complex additional needs on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups or whole-class environments.
• A patient, calm and flexible approach with excellent relationship-building skills.
• A willingness to provide intimate care when required.
• The ability to follow established routines, support plans and behaviour strategies consistently.
• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

• Competitive pay of 14.25 - 16.65 per hour, paid weekly via PAYE or Umbrella.
