Interim Financial Controller

Location: Grays, Essex
Rate: 500- 550 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 weeks
Start: Immediate

We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support a business through its year-end accounts process. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential for this assignment. We require someone with hands-on Business Central experience who can work pragmatically around system issues while ensuring financial information is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.

• Supporting the completion of year-end accounts
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing accruals and prepayments
• Overseeing purchase and sales ledger activities
• Maintaining fixed asset records and reconciliations
• Investigating and resolving financial discrepancies
• Working effectively around Business Central system challenges
• Identifying and implementing improvements to finance processes and controls

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused assignment suited to an experienced finance professional who can quickly make an impact, solve problems, and bring structure to a fast-paced and challenging finance environment.

Immediate start available. Candidates with proven Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience are strongly encouraged to apply. This role is hybrid with a minimum of 3 days per week on site.
