Vehicle Prepper - Rochester

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Prepper to join a busy Bodyshop team based in Kingsnorth.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous vehicle preparation or Bodyshop experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and wants to be part of a professional and hardworking team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Prepper, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles and panels ready for paint, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing vehicles for paint, including sanding, masking and priming panels.
• Ensuring panels are properly prepared and free from defects.
• Working on a variety of vehicles, from cars through to light commercial vehicles.
• Checking repairs before starting preparation work.
• Working to agreed processes and quality standards.
• Completing work within allocated timescales and production targets.
• Supporting other areas of the Bodyshop when required.
• Maintaining a clean and professional working environment.
• Supporting junior technicians and colleagues where required.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper, Bodyshop Technician or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for the automotive industry.
• Pride in producing work to a high standard.
• The ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence and the ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
• A minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
• Must be 21+ for insurance purposes.
