The Role
You will take a senior position on site, responsible for overseeing engineering activities, managing Junior Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for roads, sewers, drainage, and foundations
Overseeing and mentoring Site Engineers and Junior Engineers
Managing QA processes, including inspections and documentation on Roads & Sewers
Coordinating with Site Managers and subcontractors
Ensuring works are delivered in line with design drawings and specifications
Supporting programme delivery and resolving technical issues on site
Position fundamentals
Leica machine control experience and creating models (not earthworks models but helpful if they can)
Geo-technical experience, not expecting them to know all, but understands CBRs etc
Decent residential experience (Plots/Earthworks/Roads & Sewers/278 works)
Proficient in cad software (AutoCAD 3d civil preferred but not a deal breaker if other)
The roles will require the senior to set out, but each role comes with a decent junior engineer that can also set out, this allows the senior to look at the technical stuff.
