Wandsworth Full-Time Ongoing Contract
Caritas Futures is recruiting for a Refuge Worker to join a dedicated domestic abuse service supporting women and children within refuge accommodation in Wandsworth.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about empowering survivors and helping individuals rebuild their lives in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse
- Complete risk and needs assessments
- Develop and review support and safety plans
- Support clients with housing, benefits, health, and other key services
- Work in partnership with social services, police, and other agencies
- Maintain accurate case records and promote positive outcomes
Requirements:
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults, families, or individuals with complex needs
- Understanding of safeguarding and risk assessment
- Strong communication and advocacy skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
