Do you have experience supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School based in Mansfield, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school has a positive OFSTED rating and provides a supportive learning environment focused on helping pupils achieve their full potential.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside class teachers to support learning, assist pupils with classroom activities and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Experience working with children within a UK Primary School
- Experience supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
- Patience, adaptability and a willingness to get stuck in
