Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant
Location: Mansfield
Start Date: September
Salary: £95 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in Mansfield that is known as one of the best schools in the local area. The school has a supportive team, a positive approach to inclusion and has achieved a Good OFSTED rating.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant on a long-term supply basis from September, supporting secondary-aged pupils including providing 1:1 support where required. The successful Behaviour Mentor will help pupils displaying challenging behaviour to remain engaged in learning, promote positive behaviour and support the school s inclusive approach.
The successful Behaviour Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working with secondary-aged children or young people
- Experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
- Experience providing 1:1 support
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
- A positive and inclusive approach to supporting young people
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
