Pennsylvania Hybrid Working Available
I'm currently working with a well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy in Pennsylvania that is looking to add a Mid-Level Highway Engineer to its growing transportation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PE-qualified Highway Engineer who enjoys leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and working on major PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike schemes.
The Role
You'll take a leading role in the delivery of highway design projects, providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle and working closely with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Highway design and project delivery
- Production and review of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E)
- Final review and sealing of PennDOT packages
- Providing technical guidance and design oversight
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
- 4-8 years' highway engineering experience
- Strong experience delivering PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike projects
- BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence in Pennsylvania
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative approach and strong technical capability
