Maintenance Engineer
Walsall
£54,000 + 5% Bonus
4 on 4 off Days & Nights (6am 6pm / 6pm 6am)
10% Pension + Overtime (1.5x, 2x)
A large-scale manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join a highly productive, automated production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment on automated equipment including conveyors, robotics and automated production systems.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Reactive maintenance and fault finding across all production machinery
- Working on conveyors, packaging lines, slicing equipment and robotics
- Working safely within control panels and isolating equipment correctly
- Supporting planned preventative maintenance activities when required
What We re Looking For
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer position, you should have:
- A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
- Previous experience within manufacturing or automated production
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- A positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop
