Audit & Accounts Senior - Independent Accountancy Practice Central London (Hybrid) £38,000 - £50,000 DOE

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and friendly independent firm based in Central London in their search for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their team and work directly with clients, representing the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly qualified or qualified accountant looking step into a senior level role across audit and accounts within a close-knit and collaborative environment. The role offers a 40% audit and 60% accounts splits alongside the opportunity to work with a varied portfolio acting as a direct point of contact.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist on leading audits from planning through to completion
• Prepare statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and tax compliance work for a varied client portfolio
• Supporting junior staff on audits, providing mentoring and assisting in reviewing their work
• Act as one of the key point of contact for clients
• Represent the firm professionally across client engagements

Key Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (ideally only advanced exams remaining)
• Minimum 5 years' experience within practice
• Strong experience across both audit and accounts with experience in leading audits
• Confident managing client relationships
• Excellent communication skills with a professional and personable approach
• Experience with IRIS software beneficial
