Support Worker - Learning Disabilities (Female Only)

Community Support Somerset (BA4 & DT9)

We are seeking an experienced female Support Worker to join a small, person-centred learning disabilities service supporting individuals within the community across Somerset.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships and supporting people to live independently in their own homes and local community.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this role - you must have the right to work in the UK in place to apply.

Package

• 14.11 per hour
• Guaranteed 20 hours per week
• Mainly evenings and weekends
• Ongoing training and development

Responsibilities

• Supporting adults with learning disabilities
• Community access and daily living support
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Working to person-centred support plans
• Building positive relationships
• Liaising with families and professionals
• Maintaining accurate records
• Promoting dignity, choice and independence

Requirements

• Learning disabilities experience essential
• Female applicants only due to service user requirements
• Driver with own vehicle and business insurance
• Comfortable travelling across BA4 and DT9
• Available evenings and alternate weekends
• Calm, reliable and person-centred approach
• Right to work in the UK

This is a community-based role supporting people across BA4 and DT9. Regular travel between visits is required.
