Job title: Trainee Production Technician

Salary: 25,949 per annum

Location: Dover

Hours: Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays!

Role summary:

You will be testing, fault-finding down to component level, repairing and calibrating a variety of electronic products ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities would be:

• Fault find, repair, calibrate and test electronic field and bench type equipment.
• Fault find and repair at printed circuit board level, including replacing surface mount components.
• Follow test specifications and safe systems of work, adhering to COSHH and risk assessments.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and represent Manufacturing in New Product Development teams.

Experience and skills required:

• Education to Level 3 standard (A-level, BTEC or equivalent), in an electronic discipline (or equivalent).
• Previous hands-on experience in a technical or electronics environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, manuals, or circuit diagrams.
• Awareness of engineering/mechanical drawings.
• Ability to follow instructions with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
