Trust: Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

Location: Alexandra Hospital, Woodrow Drive, Redditch, B98 7UB (travel required between Trust sites WR5 1DD, B98 7UB and DY11 6RJ)

Pay Rates: £12.71ph + Escalated rates after 8pm.

Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, Various shifts available

About the Trust

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust provides hospital-based services from three main sites the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch, Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre, and Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester. We provide a wide range of services to a population of 580,000 people in Worcestershire as well as caring for patients from surrounding counties and further afield.

What you ll be responsible for:

• Delivering and collecting medical notes, clinical specimens, mail, pharmacy products, theatre instruments, and hospital equipment.
• Ensuring all items are transported safely, securely, and on time.
• Following NHS procedures, confidentiality requirements, and Health & Safety guidelines.

Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

• Full UK driving licence with at least 5 years' driving experience.
• Willingness to travel between multiple hospital sites.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and a strong understanding of Health & Safety.
