The school caters for primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Global Developmental Delay and associated communication and sensory needs. Staff work collaboratively to provide a nurturing, structured and engaging environment where every child can thrive.

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist children with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Deliver targeted interventions under the guidance of the class teacher and SEND team.
• Support communication using visual aids and structured routines.
• Engage pupils through child-led play, sensory activities and interactive learning experiences.
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interactions.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families.
• Assist with observations, progress monitoring and classroom preparation.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Support with personal care
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs.

• A graduate with a genuine interest in education or SEND.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Patient, caring and resilient with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build meaningful relationships with children who have additional needs.
• Passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
