SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Aspire People are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school looking to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant .

The school is seeking a compassionate and patient individual who has recent experience supporting pupils with additional needs and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential.

The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND
Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and communication difficulties
Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals
Helping pupils access the curriculum with confidence

The Ideal Candidate:
Recent experience working within a UK primary school in the last 2 years
Experience supporting children with SEND
Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about inclusive education
