NewGen Recruitment is looking for an experienced Deputy Support Manager to support an independent living service in Market Weighton, York.
This role would suit a Deputy Support Manager, Senior Support Worker or Team Leader with experience in supported living, learning disabilities, autism or complex support.
Duties include:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the service
- Guiding and supporting Support Workers
- Assisting with rotas, staffing and service coverage
- Supporting risk assessments, support plans and care records
- Monitoring safeguarding, compliance and quality standards
- Providing hands-on support when required
- Deputising for the Support Manager when needed
Requirements:
- Experience as a Deputy Support Manager, Senior Support Worker or Team Leader
- Supported living, learning disability or autism experience
- Medication training
- Moving and assisting training
- Enhanced DBS
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Driver preferred
