Class 2 Refuse Driver - Harrogate
17.85 per hour Tuesday-Friday, 6:00am-4:45pm Temporary, immediate start
Fusion People are recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) Refuse Driver for a busy waste and recycling operation in the Harrogate area.
You'll lead a small collection crew, drive an LGV (up to 32t), and muck in with loading bins across residential rounds, so this is a hands-on role, not driving only.
What you'll do:
- Safely operate and complete daily checks on your vehicle
- Collect refuse and recycling across your round
- Load bins alongside the crew
- Supervise your loaders and follow safe working practices (PPE, safe reversing, etc.)
- Deliver a good standard of service to residents
What you'll need:
- Category C (Class 2) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Digital tachograph card
- Willingness to take on loader duties and work outdoors in all weathers
- Reliable, safety-focused team player
