A vibrant primary school in Elephant & Castle is looking for a Teaching Partner to join their Key Stage 1 team from September 2026.

This role is ideal for a graduate with experience working with children who is considering a future career in teaching. You will gain valuable classroom experience while supporting pupils' learning and development across the school day.



The Role

As a Teaching Partner, you will take on a range of Teaching Assistant responsibilities, including:

  • Supporting learning in KS1 classrooms


  • Working with small groups and individual pupils


  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation


  • Helping to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment


  • Supporting pupils' social and emotional development


  • Contributing to behaviour management and pupil engagement




Who Should Apply?

  • Hold a degree (or are due to graduate)


  • Have experience working with children through schools, tutoring, camps, clubs, mentoring, or similar settings


  • Are aspiring teachers looking to gain hands-on classroom experience
