Project Quantity Surveyor
360 Recruitment is currently assisting a specialist contractor in their search for a Project/ Lead Quantity Surveyor, to be based on a site in Birmingham.
Our client has a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the Commercial, Retail and Residential sectors.
Job role: Project/ Lead Quantity Surveyor
Location: Touchwood Solihull, Birmingham
Duration: Permanent
Starrt Date: September
Salary: £75k - £90k (dependant on industry experience, projects worked on, etc)
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial activities across allocated project, ensuring accurate cost planning and control.
- Pricing
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets and forecasts at all project stages.
- Manage procurement processes including tendering, subcontractor negotiations, and supplier engagement.
- Maintain and update valuations, variations and interim payments.
- Monitor contract compliance and mitigate financial risk.
- Produce and issue financial reports to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to support delivery within budget and time constraints.
- Resolve commercial issues and claims as they arise.

Skills / Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the Commercial office development spance as well as experience with second stage construction
- Degree / HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
- Experience working with JCT contracts.
