Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Support Worker to join an Adults Learning Disability Care Service on an ongoing shift basis.
This role is ad-hoc shift cover with days and waking nights available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing person-centred care and support tailored to individual needs.
- Supporting people with personal care, nutrition and medication where required.
- Encouraging independence and developing daily living skills.
- Supporting individuals to take part in activities both within the service and in the local community.
- Building positive relationships with the people you support, their families and professionals.
- Completing accurate daily records and reporting any safeguarding concerns.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism or complex needs
- Genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults
- Good communication and teamwork skills
