Transport Planner

A well-established and growing transport business is looking to add a motivated and enthusiastic Transport Planner to its busy operations team based in North Killingholme.

This role would suit somebody who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on problem solving, and wants to be part of a friendly and supportive team. Previous transport planning experience is beneficial, but not essential attitude, communication skills, and a willingness to learn are considered just as important.

• Planning and coordinating UK deliveries and collections
• Communicating with drivers, customers, and internal teams throughout the day
• Supporting the smooth running of daily transport operations
• Monitoring vehicle movements and transport activity using planning systems
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations
• Delivering a high level of customer service and building strong working relationships
• Assisting with operational administration and reporting when required

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good IT skills and confidence learning new systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Good UK geographical knowledge
• Desire to learn, develop, and progress within transport and logistics

• Salary of £28,000 £36,000 depending on experience
