Bakery Mixing Operative
Location: Bolton, England (BL3)
Contract Type: Temporary (Full-time, with temp-to-perm potential)
Shifts: AM (6:00-14:00), PM (14:00-22:00), Nights (22:00-6:00)
Pay Rate: 13.74/hour (AM/PM), 15.06/hour (Nights), Overtime at 16.55/hour

What You'll Do
As a Bakery Mixing Operative, you'll play a key role in preparing, mixing, and monitoring ingredients to ensure consistent product quality. Working in a fast-paced production environment, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring bakery production equipment.
- Accurately weighing and scaling batches of ingredients.
- Preparing dough and supporting the baking process.
- Performing quality checks during production.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with food safety standards.
- Completing production records and basic equipment checks.
- Collaborating with supervisors and team members.
- Assisting with packing, labelling, and product handling as needed.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you'll need:
Hard Skills:
- Batch weighing and scaling.
- Ingredient knowledge and equipment operation.
- Dough preparation and monitoring.
- Strong numeracy and IT/system operation skills.
- Food safety, hygiene compliance, and record-keeping.
- Manual handling experience.

- Strict adherence to procedures.
- Team collaboration and a proactive attitude.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year in bakery, food production, or manufacturing is required.
