Part-Time Key Stage 1 Teacher

• Location: Fylde area
• Contract Type: Part-time (Thursdays & Fridays)
• Start Date: 3rd September

We are seeking a passionate and committed Part-Time Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mixed Year 1/Year 2 class, delivering high-quality education and fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Manage a mixed Year 1/2 classroom effectively, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Assess, track, and support pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and wider school team to enhance educational outcomes.
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding within the classroom.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1.
• Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Experience with mixed-age classes is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude towards teaching.
