Purpose of the Role
To deliver high-quality Science teaching that inspires students, raises achievement, and supports their academic and personal development across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed learning environment.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental improvement.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers to support student achievement.
• Act as a Form Tutor where required.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students in line with school policies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Degree in a Science-related subject.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to high standards, inclusion, safeguarding and continuous professional development.
