Personal Wealth Advisor

Job Description

Our client is on a mission to make financial advice more accessible, affordable and impactful for a wider range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Financial Adviser to join their highly successful wealth management team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an Adviser seeking the backing of a well-established national business, access to a substantial flow of referrals and the autonomy to provide holistic financial planning advice.

The Opportunity

As a Personal Wealth Adviser, you will deliver tailored financial planning solutions to both new and existing clients. Taking a holistic approach, you'll build long-term relationships by understanding each client's circumstances, goals and aspirations, creating financial plans that evolve alongside their needs. You'll utilise cashflow modelling and financial planning tools to provide clear, insightful recommendations while benefiting from our client's robust systems, infrastructure and dedicated support functions. Importantly, this is not a cold-start role. Our client provides Advisers with a consistent flow of qualified referrals and leads, enabling you to focus on delivering high-quality advice and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver holistic financial planning advice to new and existing clients
  • Conduct client meetings both virtually and face-to-face
  • Create tailored financial plans using cashflow modelling and planning tools
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Generate new business through referrals, networking and existing lead sources
  • Ensure all advice meets regulatory requirements and Consumer Duty standards
  • Manage your own diary and client relationships effectively

About You

To be considered, you should have:

  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning as a minimum
  • Chartered status or level 6 qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
  • A proven track record of delivering holistic financial advice
  • Strong relationship-building and client management skills
  • Experience generating repeat business and client referrals
  • Confidence conducting client meetings and presenting financial plans
  • Good understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty requirements
  • Experience using cashflow modelling software

What's on Offer

Our client offers:

  • Competitive basic salary with uncapped bonus potential
  • A consistent flow of leads and referrals
  • Flexible hybrid working with significant home-based autonomy
  • Comprehensive benefits package including private medical insurance, life assurance, enhanced pension contributions and wellbeing benefits
  • Ongoing professional development and support towards further qualifications
  • Clear career progression opportunities within a growing business
  • Access to dedicated support functions, allowing Advisers to focus on advising clients rather than administration

Additional Benefits

  • 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Option to buy or sell additional holiday
  • Private medical insurance and health screening
  • Enhanced pension contributions
  • Flexible benefits allowance
  • Gym membership and wellbeing support options
  • Performance-related bonus scheme

Our client is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive working environment and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds and experiences. They offer flexible working arrangements and actively encourage applications from professionals returning to the industry following a career break.
