Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 + uplifts, shift allowance & package

Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Tunnel Hand to join a long-term programme of works within the UK water and infrastructure sector. This is a permanent opportunity working on secured AMP8 frameworks, offering stability, structured progression, and the chance to develop specialist tunnelling skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tunnelling operations on site
- Assist with shaft sinking and associated activities
- Work effectively as part of a shift team on 24-hour operations
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and quality
- Contribute to efficient delivery of works across multiple UK projects
Requirements
- Previous experience within tunnelling or shaft environments preferred
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work long hours where required
- Flexible to travel and work across different project locations
- Reliable, committed, and keen to develop within the sector
