SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School Support
Full-Time Long-Term Role Aspire People
Aspire People are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs within a primary school setting.
The school is looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion and can support children with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and learning differences.
The successful candidate will help pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop independence within the classroom.
The Role:
Supporting pupils with SEND across the classroom
Helping adapt activities to meet individual learning needs
Delivering small-group support and interventions
Supporting communication, confidence, and independence
Working alongside teachers and the SENCO
Helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with SEND
Recent experience within a UK school or education setting
Patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of inclusive classroom practices
Passionate about helping every child succeed
