Vision for Education urgently need enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to work in Welsh-medium primary schools across Swansea and the surrounding areas. We have immediate opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time supply basis, supporting pupils aged 3 11 years.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils' learning and development. Your work may include:

• Providing 1:1 support for individual pupils.
• Working with small groups to enhance learning and engagement.
• Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting children across the primary age range, with many placements within the Foundation Phase and Early Years settings.
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning through the Welsh language.

Supply work offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to gain experience in different schools while maintaining a work-life balance that suits you.

What We Are Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• Fluent Welsh language skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Recent experience supporting children in Early Years or Primary settings.
• A caring, patient, and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate, engage, and support young learners.
