We’re looking for registered healthcare professionals to join our Clinical Scrutiny team, supporting candidates who are applying to join the British Army. This is a non-patient-facing role, ideal if you enjoy clinical decision-making, working independently, and making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.

Medical Records Assessor

Job Description:

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, across Monday to Friday. It is a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2027. Home based role with occassional travel to site.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reviewing candidates’ medical records and declarations

  • Making clear, evidence-based clinical decisions in line with military standards

  • Completing assessments and documentation accurately on our systems

  • Working to daily and weekly targets in a structured, supportive team

What we’re looking for:

We are seeking applications from individuals who demonstrate strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy, and who are comfortable working in a targetdriven environment, typically managing around 8 cases per day.  You’ll be confident in making sound clinical decisions and applying your professional judgement consistently.

You’ll also bring the following essential qualifications, skills and experience:

  • A qualified Healthcare Professional with current UK registration (for example NMC or HCPC), with no restrictions on practice

  • Post‑registration clinical experience as a Nurse, Paramedic or Physiotherapist
